摘要: Abstract Evaluation of rotation capacity reinforced concrete (r.c.) members is a key issue in the seismic performances evaluation existing buildings. In framework modern safety assessment procedures, comparison between demand (D) and (C) measure required. However, available models reflect experimental results representative new constructions, where deformed bars are used. Consequently, deformation strength mechanisms do not necessarily response old-type members. It well known that r.c. designed according to obsolete codes practice characterised by very different structural detailing, inadequate confinement, poor bond smooth concrete, so post-yielding compared constructions take place. This background present paper reports second phase program carried out on columns with rebars guidelines Italy 1940 1970.
