Niobium tungsten titanium oxides: From “soft chemistry” precursors to electrochromic thin layer materials

摘要: Abstract Thin films of transition metal oxyhydroxides containing W and Nb (HNbWO6, H2O) or Ti (H2Ti3O7) obtained by “soft chemistry” have been prepared using vacuum evaporation. These exhibit electrochromic behavior in aqueous acid electrolyte non-aqueous such as 1M LiClO 4 propylene carbonate. It was found that the coloration efficiency may be improved coevaporating mixtures these two oxyhydroxides. Moreover, presence has shown to directly connected nature precursors.
