Periodontal Treatment Needs and Oral Ulceration in Children and Adolescents with Celiac Disease

摘要: Aim: To determine periodontal treatment needs and the incidence of oral ulceration among children adolescents with celiac disease to compare their findings a healthy age gender-matched controlgroup. Methods: A prospective study was conducted at King Hussein Medical Center on total 86 patients: 43 patients as group (comma removed) participants control group. Both gr oups were questioned for history recurrent mouth ulcers frequency tooth brushing. The dental examination each patient in both groups included following: plaque index, gingival index Community Peri odontal Index Treatment Needs (CPITN). mucosa examined clinically any lesion consistent aphthous ulceration.
