摘要: The expression of tenascin, an extracellular matrix glycoprotein, was studied in three human prostatic carcinoma cell lines by Northern and Western blot analyses prostate tissues immunohistochemistry analysis. All expressed tenascin mRNA protein, which were found predominantly secreted form culture supernatant. By immunohistochemistry, fetal tissue showed strong diffuse immunoreactivity around developing glands. Normal adult revealed only focal, scant periglandular stromal acini ducts. Most cases hyperplasia intraepithelial neoplasia variable immunostaining. Tenascin staining with extension noted all grades adenocarcinoma; however, the intensity appeared unrelated to histologic grade. Metastatic lymph nodes bone marrow samples, weak reactivity normal connective framework both tissues. analysis demonstrated large small isoforms tenascin. These findings suggest a prominent role for alterations associated benign malignant epithelial growth processes.
