摘要: Many countries in southern Africa promote nature tourism as a strategy for sustainable rural development. In Namibia and Mozambique, this often involves integrated conservation development programs (ICDPs) that aim to preserve the environment improve economic well-being. We find some evidence households located areas with ICDPs receive more tourism-related benefits relative are not; however, we higher outcomes do not necessarily correspond satisfaction tourism. conservation, although it is commonly viewed means of preservation, contributes disruption landscapes livelihoods.
