摘要: We report on the first-principles calculations of bandgap modulation in armchair MoS2 nanoribbon (AMoS2NR) by transverse and perpendicular electric fields respectively. In monolayer AMoS2NR case, it is shown that can be significantly reduced closed field, whereas absent under field. The critical strength field for gap closure decreases as ribbon width increases. multilayer contrast, effectively both fields. Nevertheless, seems two exhibit different effects gap. with increasing number layers, while almost independent it.
