Beliefs and feelings experienced by mothers of children under phototherapy

摘要: UNLABELLED Case study with mothers of newborn babies submitted to phototherapy held in a maternity Fortaleza, Brazil. The purpose was identifying the mother's beliefs and feelings before treatment. data were collected an interview performed two open questions about feelings. result was: 36.5% feel fear sadness; 27.3% sorrow fault. Regarding beliefs, 45.5% think that baby feels uncomfortable; is at risk life. CONCLUSION insecurity unhappiness treatment they uncomfortable for newborn.
