摘要: Objective(s): Stress induces many homeostatic aberrations which are followed by lifelong allostatic responses. Epilepsy is developed or influenced different environmental factors, i.e. prenatal stress makes contradictory developmental changes in seizure threshold and intensity. We investigated the potential response of rat offspring to stress; was applied their mothers. Materials Methods: Nine day heterogeneous sequential (HSS) model used before during first second pregnancy. The kindling induced using 13 IP injections pentylenetetrazol (PTZ) every 48 hr adult male Wistar rat's offspring. Results: results present study demonstrated that, pregnancy decreased rate (P<0.05) offspring, while completely prevented (P <0.001). Further, convulsive latency increased tonic clonic duration decreased. In contrast, previous between pregnancies could not change process. Although maternal separation did development, it increase intensities elongating seizures reducing convulsion <0.05). Conclusion: It concluded that detrimental effects be around pregnancy; however this beneficial effect weakened stress.
