摘要: Sarcopenia has been accepted as a new geriatric syndrome, which will become common and important public health challenge. And angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) have shown to improve exercise capacity in elderly without heart failure. To evaluate the effect of on physical function elderly. The Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBASE Web Science were searched. All researches included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) compared any kind ACEIs with placebo or other anti-hypertensives elderly, provided empirical data grip strength 6-min walk distance change from baseline. Risk bias was systematically assessed by using risk tool. Data baseline collected mean differences (MDs) calculated along 95 % CI (confidence interval) random effects model. In 3 RCTs including 337 participants, (n = 178) did not significantly improved (13.45, CI: −16.71 43.61; P = 0.38) versus antihypertensives (n = 159). 499 different (−0.67, −1.53 0.19; P = 0.12) between (n = 260) (n = 239). There exists only 4 number participants is limited. Pooling participant characteristics. intervention strictly consistent. This study shows that can age-related decline muscle for older clinical trials.
