摘要: Abstract At the radioactive ion-beam facility REX-ISOLDE more than 60 different types of radionuclide ions have been post-accelerated to energies up 3.15 MeV/u within last years. The transmission efficiency system has continually increased with gained operation experience. Apart from striving for highest possible intensity, beam purity is also crucial importance many experiments. For this reason isobaric contaminant suppression in low energy stage investigated. Until now Penning trap REXTRAP was used solely as a device bunching incoming quasi-continuous ISOLDE and reducing emittance efficient injection into REXEBIS charge breeder. possibility operating mass-resolving mode injecting bunched beams recently installed radiofrequency quadrupole cooler buncher ISCOOL studied detail. Results related efficiency,achieved power, limitations due space-charge effects are presented.
