摘要: This paper describes a hybrid tool to perform Static Transmission Expansion Planning, STEP, studies and its application the Garver6-Bus academic system Southern Brazilian equivalent real system. The developed STEP integrates two phases as follows. first one uses Constructive Heuristic Algorithms (CHA) reduce search space, second Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) identify final solution. hybridization between CHAs PSO proved be very effective shows good performance size of space quality solutions. These are relevant issues given combinatorial nature investment problems leading explosion number alternative plans, greatest difficulties faced in this planning problem.
