摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter presents a study investigating effect of impulse flow on the release and synthesis dopamine (DA) in rat striatum. The γ-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) firing dopaminergic neurons zona compacta substantia nigra was investigated by means single unit recording techniques. identification DA based both, histochemical neurophysiological characteristics made it possible to make extracellular recordings from these neurons. These experiments revealed that GHB or GBL administered intravenously intraperitoneally doses 100–200 mg/kg routinely, decrease units localized containing cells present nigra. Serotonin norepinephrine (NE) midbrain raphe locus coeruleus respectively were much less responsive inhibitory properties GHB. If is interrupted system placement high frequency electrothermic lesion nigro-neostriatal pathway direct injection local anesthetics into this an increase neostriatal similar produced treatment also observed.
