摘要: Cohesins are conserved and essential Structural Maintenance of Chromosomes (SMC) protein-containing complexes that physically interact with chromatin modulate higher-order organization. mediate sister chromatid cohesion cellular long-distance interactions affecting genome maintenance gene expression. Discoveries mutations in cohesin's subunits its regulator proteins human developmental disorders, so-called "cohesinopathies," reveal crucial roles for cohesins development growth differentiation. In this review, we discuss the latest findings concerning functions architecture organization regulation new insight gained from studies cohesinopathies.
