Patients' health literacy in psychotic disorders.

摘要: Compliance and relapse are major issues in the treatment of psychotic disorders. About 50% subjects with schizophrenia do not comply rates 65% reported after one year 80% two years. Drug treatments effective against symptoms, but cannot promote functional recovery or prevent relapses when prescribed alone. The factors influencing compliance include side effects patients' awareness their illness. Psychosocial interventions, cognitive remediation psychotherapy have been proposed as adjuvant to increase decrease rate relapse. Most these interventions shown relapse, most robust results achieved behavioral therapy.
