摘要: We developed a rapid extraction method to analyze the chromosomal DNA of 84 isolates Campylobacter pylori (formerly pyloridis) from 70 individuals. Only three nine endonucleases tested gave satisfactory digestions: HindIII, EcoRI, and SacI. The latter two produced mostly larger bands, whereas HindIII smaller which allowed clearer comparisons between isolates. 69 Australian subjects one England each had unique profile. Isolates husband wife were different, as those brother sister. In pairs 11 individuals, second isolate was markedly different in six subjects. profile changes not associated with antibiotic susceptibility or loss catalase urease activity, can occur during storage C. pylori. These restriction endonuclease profiles suggest considerable subspecies variation Plasmid bands found undigested 40
