摘要: Although control of hypertension is established as an important factor in the primary and secondary prevention stroke, management blood pressure setting acute ischemic stroke remains controversial. Given limited data, general consensus that there no proven benefit to lowering first hours days after stroke. Instead, concern relative hypotension may lead worsening cerebral ischemia. For many years, use augmentation ("induced hypertension") has been studied animal models humans a means maintaining or improving perfusion brain tissue. This approach now widely used neurocritical care units treat delayed neurological deficits subarachnoid hemorrhage, but its patients anecdotal. article reviews physiology, human studies induced treatment for not large, randomized clinical trial this treatment, available data suggests can result at least short-term improvement, with acceptable degree safety.
