摘要: Abstract This paper presents a performance comparison study of heat exchangers with different circuitry arrangements for active chilled beam (ACB) applications. Supported by two-way discharge ACB terminal unit and test pilot plant, four 2-rows plain fin tube exchangers, namely, 1-circuit, 2-circuits, 4-circuits, 8-circuits, are investigated under wide range water volume flow rates. The side thermal hydraulic characteristics evaluated. transfer rates compared three sets criteria: identical rate, pressure drop, pumping energy consumption. Meanwhile, the comparisons also performed in terms two non-dimensional parameters: exchanger effectiveness index. shows that should be preferred operation conditions evaluation criteria, while 2-circuits arrangement is most comprehensive reasonable option rather than 1-circuit one widely used all available products.
