摘要: Eighty-five unhatched eggs from 68 white-tailed sea eagle clutches were collected during 1965–1978 along the Baltic coast and in Lapland. The analysed individually for residue levels of DDT its metabolites, PCB mercury. Pooled samples dieldrin hexachlorobenzene (HCB). variations within between studied before material was grouped investigations relationships reproduction contamination. Levels DDE, mercury significantly higher as compared to Lapland material. In Baltic, reproductive success on a clutch basis nest negatively correlated egg DDE PCB; no correlation found with Critical ranges estimated 500–600 mg kg1 and/or 800–900 kg−1 (lipid basis). HCB pooled not considered important reproduction. comparative study including six bald populations, productivity showed strongest DDE.
