摘要: Despite a great interest in the concept of "safety culture", there is little common understanding concept. Anthropologists disagree with management consultants, organization theorists and psychologists on important issues. In particular, much "management literature" seems to have more instrumental treatment There are several ways culture - from linguistic level focus discourse conflicts, "taken for granted" where "tacit knowledge" key phrase, whereas as "webs significance" can be understood an epistemological position, short, how we grasp world. addition, different cultural perspectives like integration, differentiation ambiguity analyzes, but whether one dealing single unitary culture, many subcultures, or no at all, not theoretical question empirical one, will demonstrated using oil drilling case. One implication this that researchers should sensitive levels/perspectives methodological triangulation their analyses managers modest efforts manage cultures.
