摘要: Rapid demographic shifts in the United States’ school-aged population require school psychology to research and address issues related limited racial/ethnic diversity profession. This qualitative study explored work-related experiences perceptions of 30 African American School Psychologists who practiced Southeastern States. Findings revealed that perceive their ability help children, advocate for children color, provide positive representations people color as opportunities. They racial bias, including microaggressions, a primary challenge careers. Based on these results, recommendations research, training, practice are provided.
