摘要: In these lecture notes, we present a pedagogical review of number related {\it numerically exact} approaches to quantum many-body problems. particular, focus on methods based the exact diagonalization Hamiltonian matrix and extending using renormalization group ideas, i.e., Wilson's Numerical Renormalization Group (NRG) White's Density Matrix (DMRG). These are standard tools for investigation variety interacting systems, especially low-dimensional lattice models. We also survey extensions calculate properties such as dynamical quantities behavior at finite temperature, discuss generalizations DMRG method wider classical models chemical Finally, briefly some recent developments obtaining more general formulation in context product states well progress calculating time evolution systems relationship foundations with information theory.
