摘要: Abstract cDNAs that code for mouse organic anion transporting polypeptide 2 (oatp2) have been cloned. At least three forms of oatp2 containing the same coding sequence were isolated. The common is a protein 670 amino acids with 12 putative transmembrane domains. deduced acid shares 89% identity reported rat oatp2. Cloning and analysis gene indicates these isoforms are alternatively spliced products from gene. Heterogeneity was observed in 5′-untranslated region cDNAs. Two lacked noncoding exon 3 sequence. Northern-blot hybridization using 3-specific probes demonstrated mRNA expressed heart lung, whereas 1-, 2-, 17-specific detected only brain liver. consists 17 exons, including 16 introns. All introns flanked by GT-AG splice sequences except intron 10 GC-AG
