摘要: In every medical specialty bad, sad, and difficult information must be given to patients their families. An insensitive approach increases the distress of recipients bad news, may exert a lasting impact on ability adapt adjust, can lead anger an increased risk litigation. Many doctors also find these interactions stressful, in absence much effective training they adopt inappropriate ways delivering news coping with emotional fall-out. Recognition difficulties has led many initiatives, ranging from communication skills development guidelines protocols. We review some research that giving patients, assess whether interventions are helping. focus mainly encountered involving parents obstetric or paediatric setting, people acute trauma situations such as accident emergency departments, cancer.
