摘要: ABSTRACTThe supply of students motivated to study engineering in higher education is critical the sector. Results are presented from ‘Mindsets STEM Enhancement Project’. Fifty-seven new resources packs, designed improve Design and Technology, were given schools across London. A modified Intrinsic Motivation Inventory questionnaire measured pupils’ (n = 458) motivation towards technology. The results show that although pupils have positive reactions technology content within Technology lessons, type lessons created through project had made no significant difference on interest/enjoyment This suggests stand-alone do not pupil motivation. impact this work existing levels inability at school could be a factor affecting pursuit or related career.
