摘要: The Ludlow deposits of the Winnica Formation in Rzepin section (Holy Cross Mountains, Poland) have been studied with respect to their facies evolution and stable carbon isotope ratios from whole-rock samples. C-isotope curve records a distinct positive excursion maximal values +8.9‰. A Late is known different paleocontinents thus regarded as global event. presence event allows for chemostratigraphic correlation profile classical, biostratigraphically well-dated Gotland section. Holy Mountains are interpreted terms sea-level changes during excursion. Because sections positioned on opposite sides same foreland basin, comparison sequence stratigraphy test regularities shelf Baltica. In present paper, modified view recently published succession presented. Our results indicate that δ13C connected prolonged low-stand conditions small, internal transgressive pulses.
