摘要: The secretory pathway delivers proteins synthesized at the rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER) to various subcellular locations via Golgi apparatus. Currently, efforts are focused on understanding molecular machineries driving individual processes RER and that package, modify transport proteins. However, studies routinely performed using non-dividing cells. This obscures critical issue of how is affected by cell division. Indeed, several have indicated protein trafficking down-regulated during mitosis. Moreover, apparatus exhibit gross reorganization in Here I provide a relatively neglected perspective mitotic cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK1) could regulate stages pathway. highlight aspects control remain unresolved suggest further CDK1 influences necessary obtain deeper transport.
