摘要: The aim of this study was to design and development an efficient facile strategy for the grafting polyaniline (PANI) onto novolac-type phenolic resin. For purpose, novolac resin (NR) functionalized using p-antranilic acid in presence p-toluene sulfonic (p-TSA) as dehydrating agent afford phenylamine-functionalized macromonomer (PhANRM). graft polymerization aniline monomer PhANRM initiated by oxidized phenylamine groups after addition ammonium peroxydisulfate (APS), p-TSA-doped PANI grown on NR via oxidation method. chemical structures all samples were characterized Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopies. electrical conductivity well electroactivity synthesized NR-g-PANI investigated compared with corresponding properties pure PANI. mechanical adhesive features fabricated also examined terms tensile lap shear strengths elongation at break. As results, may be applied electrically conductive adhesive, coating material, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding or other industrial fields mainly due high low cost advantages thermal stability both
