摘要: Hexagonal boron nitrite (hBN) is an attractive material for many applications such as in electronics a complement to graphene, anti-oxidation coatings, light emitters, etc. However, the synthesis of high-quality hBN at cost-effective conditions still great challenge. Thus, this work reports on large-area and crystalline nanosheets via modified polymer derived ceramics (PDCs) process. The addition both BaF2 Li3N, melting-point reduction crystallization agents, respectively, led production powders with excellent physicochemical properties relatively low temperatures atmospheric pressure conditions. For instance, XRD, Raman, XPS data revealed improved crystallinity quality decreased formation temperature 1200 °C upon 5 wt% BaF2. Moreover, morphological determination illustrated multi-layered nanocrystalline well-defined shaped crystal sizes 2.74–8.41 ± 0.71 µm diameter. Despite compromised thermal stability, shown by ease oxidation high temperatures, paves way large-scale crystals
