摘要: The biological activity and toxicity of crude venom from Conus betulinus, which was collected the South China Sea, were studied. shows Ach receptor activity, K+ current effect, low toxicity. Four peptide components, named BeTXIa, BeTXIb, BeTXIIa, BeTXIIb, purified by gel-filtration with Sephadex followed HPLC, finally sequenced on an ABI model 491 sequencer. low-molecular-weight peptides BeTXIa b have 14 15 amino acid residues, respectively, while BeTXIIa 27 30 respectively. results indicate that BeTXs C. betulinus are a set small high cysteine content like known conotoxins. However, it is meaningful to find these sequences specific chemical characteristics in their framework differ greatly frameworks conotoxin structures.
