摘要: Sodium alginate (SA) and chitosan (CS) blended membranes were crosslinked with maleic anhydride (MA) for the separation of 1,4-dioxane/water mixtures at 30 °C by pervaporation (PV). The characterized Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis Ion Exchange Capacity (IEC) to verify crosslinking. Thermogravimetric (TGA) X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern used observe thermal degradation crystalline nature membrane respectively. performance was studied calculating flux, selectivity, index. Sorption studies carried out evaluate extent interaction degree swelling in pure liquids as well binary mixtures. effects experimental parameters such feed composition, thickness, permeate pressure on determined. result suggested that has a good potential breaking aqueous azeotrope 1,4-dioxane.
