摘要: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are a heterogeneous population of secreted membrane vesicles, with distinct biogenesis routes, biophysical properties and different functions both in physiological conditions disease. The release EVs is widespread biological process, which conserved across species. In recent years, numerous studies have demonstrated that several bioactive molecules trafficked with(in) EVs, such as microRNAs, mRNAs, proteins lipids. understanding their final impact on the biology specific target cells remains matter intense debate field. Also, attracted great interest potential novel cell-free therapeutics. Here we describe proposed pathological particular focus molecular content. discuss advances knowledge mechanisms regulating secretion EV-associated pathways activated upon interaction cell, highlighting role context immune system mediators intercellular signalling brain.
