摘要: PURPOSE: To examine the expression of AKT and PTEN in a series HER2-positive primary invasive breast tumors using immunohistochemistry, to associate these profiles with classic pathologic features such as tumor grade, hormone receptor expression, lymphatic vascular invasion, proliferation.METHODS: A total 104 carcinoma specimens were prepared tissue microarrays blocks for immunohistochemical detection phosphorylated (pAKT). Original histologic sections reviewed assess pathological features, including HER2 status Ki-67 index values. The associations between categorical numeric variables identified Pearson's chi-square test Mann-Whitney, respectively.RESULTS: Co-expression pAKT was presented 59 (56.7%) cases. Reduced levels detected 20 (19.2%) cases, had lower value. In contrast, positive [71 (68.3%)] associated higher value.CONCLUSION: role proliferation cancers confirmed. However, did not correlate an inhibition cellular or control phosphorylation, suggesting other pathways mechanisms control.
