Enzymatic production of cyclodextrins from milled corn starch in an ultrafiltration membrane bioreactor.

摘要: Cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase (CGTase) was found to be severely inhibited by cyclodextrins. In order increase the conversion yield reducing product inhibition and reuse CGTase in production of cyclodextrins from milled corn starch, an ultrafiltration membrane bioreactor system employed. a batch operation with ultrafiltration, increased 57% compared that without ultrafiltration. Operating conditions for continuous were optimized taking into consideration filtration rate as follows: initial starch concentration, 7% (w/v); feeding rate, 240 mg/h; loading, 350 units/initial gram starch. When continuously produced under conditions, 340 units require produce 1 g 48 h, while case conventional operation, 24 h 1410 CGTase.
