摘要: Abstract In 1999, two earthquakes in northwest Turkey caused heavy damage to a large number of industrial facilities. This region is the most industrialized country, and has significant economic influence. Industrial storage tanks, ruptured by earthquakes, exascerbate through spread fire. Storage tanks are uniquely structured, tall cylindrical vessels, some supported relatively short reinforced concrete columns. The main aim this study evaluate earthquake performance Turkish facilities, especially terms resistance. Modeling typical tank an facility helps understand structure’s seismic response. A model structure was modelled as solid with lumped mass spring systems. Performance estimation was done 40 different data nonlinear time history analyses. After analyses, fragility analyses produced probabilistic assessment for model. For structure, analysis results were evaluated compared. study, vulnerability determined risk defined analysis.
