摘要: In a prospective study, serum and plasma samples from 17 patients with kala-azar were collected in Rio de Janeiro. High levels of immune complexes (IC) detected by means 125I-Clq conglutinin binding assays. The Clq material had sedimentation coefficient 19-25S, as determined ultracentrifugation on sucrose gradient. Plasma C3 breakdown products measured the C3d increased six out 11 patients. occurrence polyclonal B cell activation was suggested (a) marked increase IgG IgM (b) presence antibodies against various proteins haptens (SRBC, DNP-BSA, FITC-BSA,KLH). There close association between IC anti-immunoglobulin antibodies. Anti-smooth muscle also observed. These data are consistent major role induction during visceral leishmaniasis.
