The effect of SMS messaging on the compliance with iron supplementation among pregnant women in Iran: a randomized controlled trial:

摘要: We examined the effect of SMS text messages on compliance with iron supplementation among pregnant women. A randomized controlled trial was conducted 116 women referred from public health centres in Ahvaz. Their gestational age 14-16 weeks. The subjects were randomly assigned to a control group who received usual care, or 12-week intervention reminders addition care. Participants both groups provided supplements and taught how take tablets. Most (94%) had high compared (66%); this difference significant (P = 0.003). Although haemoglobin, haematocrit ferritin decreased significantly each group, there no between them. Using is an efficient way improving during pregnancy. However, present study better did not improve anaemia.
