摘要: Zero-valent nickel compounds are organometallic chemicals that used in synthetic applications and may also occur as intermediates nickel-catalyzed hydrogenation reactions food processing. Few studies have been performed on their possible genotoxic actions. We tested two commercially available examples of this class compounds. Solubility stability were examined. Mutagenicity testing did not confirm a previous report bis(1,5-cyclooctadiene)nickel is positive the Ames assay. No stimulation lipid peroxidation was observed bovine erythrocytes exposed vitro. Our results do indicate zero-valent effects.
