摘要: A combined method is presented to study the wave interaction with an offshore or pile (cylinder) breakwater in finite water depth. The influences of fluid viscosity, thickness structure and evanescent waves on hydrodynamic behaviours are included model. Rayleigh expansion used describe reflected transmitted waves. accuracy present formulas verified by a comparison existing results. reflection transmission coefficients predicted model agree theoretical results experimental data open literature. ratio grating constant, 2b (the distance between adjacent gaps), wavelength, L, equal one critical value. When 2b/L>1, influence characteristics can be ignored, whereas if 2b/L<1, increase lead resonance these gaps dramatically enhanced transmission. diffraction cause phase shift tune condition. viscosity repress but not completely eliminate Phenomenon at certain special frequencies induced should given attention.
