摘要: Abstract Due to steadily increasing resource demand and accompanying raising public awareness, a variety of assessment methodologies evaluating use its consequences were published in the last years. Existing are typically developed considering specific characteristics one particular type as consequence not suitable for cross-cutting different types. This paper proposes an 3-step approach combining allowing consistent product systems using The first steps evaluate if considered dimensions, categories, indicators, indicator models underlying data consistent. When this is case, they can be included combined methodology without further adjustments. Differences identified simultaneously addressed subsequent steps. Within guidance provided on how categories indicators adjusted fit methodology. In case study proposed applied two by authors assessing abiotic (ESSENZ method) biotic resources raw materials (BIRD method). ESSENZ method consists four which quantified overall 21 indicators. BIRD takes into account five dimensions 24 corresponding As none dimension match, comparison types well application possible. By applying all 25 27 integrated materials. obtained then three shelves made out metal, wood plastic. It could shown that introduced provides meaningful combine increases findings gained from assessment.
