摘要: Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a myeloproliferative disorder characterized by increased proliferation of granulocytic cells without the loss their capability to differentiate. CML derived from hematopoietic stem (1) with Philadelphia chromosome resulting reciprocal translocation between chromosomes 9 and 22 t(9;22)-(q34;q11). This produces fusion gene known as BCR-ABL which acquires uncontrolled tyrosine kinase activity, constantly turning on its downstream signaling molecules/pathways, promoting cell through anti-apoptosis acquisition additional mutations. To evaluate role each critical molecule test therapeutic drugs in vivo, it important use physiological mouse disease models. In this chapter, we describe model induced retrovirus (MSCV-BCR-ABL-GFP; MIG-BCR-ABL) how translational research.
