The Effects of Double-Blind versus Single-Blind Reviewing: Experimental Evidence from The American Economic Review

摘要: The results from a randomized experiment conducted at American Economic Review on the effects of double-blind versus single-blind peer reviewing acceptance rates and referee ratings indicate that are lower referees more critical when reviewer is unaware author's identity. These patterns not significantly different between female male authors.
