摘要: Label-free electrical detection of biomolecules is demonstrated with a double-gate (DG) nanowire (NW) field-effect transistor (FET). Experimental results confirm that sensitivity favorably improved by the increment NW size in DG-NWFET, whereas it enhanced decrement conventional single-gate (SG) NWFET. Sensitivity improvement augmentation DG-FET paves way to overcome technical challenges we face achieving ultimate miniaturization SG-FET. This result comprehensively understood simple capacitive modeling. The proposed model explains observed experimental data and provides design guideline for highly sensitive biosensors.
