摘要: Car-bodies are increasingly made with advanced high-strength steels in order to reduce weight and improve passenger safety. High-manganese austenitic have been recently proposed for such an application, due their excellent combination of strength toughness. However, a widespread usage these the automotive industry is conditional on development effective welding methods join high-Mn other steel grades employed adjacent car-body parts.
