摘要: In the last years, TWIP steels have been proposed for fabrication of car-body components, due to their excellent combination strength and toughness. However, a widespread usage these such applications is conditional on employment dissimilar welding with other automotive high-strength steel grades. this study, butt weld seams Dual Phase sheets fabricated by metal active gas are examined. The microstructural mechanical characterization welded joints were carried out optical metallography, microhardness, tensile testing, fractographic examination. heat affected zone side was fully austenitic only detectable effect grain coarsening; dual phase new martensite formed close fusion zone, while ferrite, tempered occurred away from zone. specimens exhibit plastic behavior influenced steel, even though more limited strengths elongation at fractures. predominantly broke within seams, fractures surfaces being ductile.
