摘要: In healthy subjects, deep inspiration (DI) acts both as a bronchodilator and bronchoprotector. The latter is impaired in asthmatics. We have now evaluated whether the lack of bronchoprotection related to bronchial hyperresponsiveness (BHR), bronchodilatory effect also lost Ten subjects (PC20 > 75 mg/ml), 12 asthmatics with moderate severe BHR < 1 14 mild borderline (1 PC20 25 10 rhinitics mg/ml) underwent single-dose methacholine provocations inducing at least 20% reduction FEV1 after 20 min DI inhibition.
