摘要: The Raman scattering spectra of Rb 2 ZnCl 4 single crystals were measured over the temperature range covering successive phase transitions at T 1 =302 K and =189 K. low-lying mode, whose frequency decreases as prototypic-incommensurate transition roint is approached from below, has been observed for c ( a ) b orientation well orientation, assigned to amplitude mode. results obtained are discussed in connection with incommensurate transition.
