摘要: Oxidative stress is an important pathological mechanism in various liver diseases. Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. (PM) can be used for the treatment of diseases associated with aging, hyperlipidemia, and oxidative traditional Chinese medicine. In this study, we examined hepatoprotective effects ethanolic extract PM (PME) vitro vivo models. The PME induced expression antioxidant-response-element- (ARE-) related genes HepG2 cells showed a dose-dependent manner. Pretreatment cell suppressed H2O2- acetaminophen- (APAP-) cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation cytotoxicity. APAP-induced mouse injury, pretreatment also ability to increase survival rate reduce severity injury. Treatment attenuated bile duct ligation-induced extrahepatic cholestatic injury further increased multidrug resistance protein 4 (MRP4) reduced organic anion-transporting polypeptide (OATP) expression. Furthermore, nuclear translocation factor erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2) was observed after both conclusion, current study activity by regulating redox state through Nrf2 activation controlling hepatic acid homeostasis obstructive cholestasis, transporter modulation.
