摘要: The use of ozonation for the purification drinking water can lead to formation bromate. US Environmental Protection Agency and European Directive human has lowered regulatory level bromate down 10 microg l(-1), such that methods must be developed monitoring bromate, particularly in on-site situations. In present work we report a fluorometric method determination based on reaction with carbostyril-124, compound shows fluorescence mainly at pH values above 4 and, when bromated, generates non-fluorescent product. thus used as an indirect ion. proposed method, which uses flow injection (FI) technique, allows online application kinetic control variables affecting process, together shorter times, it provides maximum sensitivity selectivity. Under optimum conditions, is possible determine analyte within 4-200 l(-1) range, limit detection 0.9 relative standard deviation (n=12, [BrO3-]=5 30 l(-1)) 3.2% 2.6% respectively. rate was ten samples per hour.
