摘要: Cyclic response of a nickel-based superalloy, Alloy RR1000, has been studied at 650 °C using both experimental and numerical approaches. Experimental results from uniaxial strain-controlled tests showed hardening softening behaviour for the material. A viscoplastic-damage model developed to simulate material behaviour, where damage variable, based on plastic strain development, was introduced in framework viscoplasticity. good agreement between simulations obtained full history cyclic under simple dwell loading conditions. The utilised investigate evolution near crack tip single edge notch tension specimen (SENT), accumulation rate with respect cycles found be linear once an inelastic threshold reached. development seems localised becomes more significant lower frequencies longer periods.
