摘要: The transition from weak to strong coupling in quantum chromodynamics is discussed using semiclassical methods calculate the effective $g(a)$ of an lattice theory as a function $a$. We demonstrate that renormalization effects due instantons cause sharp range $g(a)\ensuremath{\approx}1.5\ensuremath{-}3$. This verified by showing "string tension" well $\ensuremath{\beta}$ calculated match their strong-coupling behavior for $g\ensuremath{\approx}1.5\ensuremath{-}3$. An independent test this notion provided bag-model calculation string tension.
